What you’ll receive

A front-row seat for launch

Early access to the digital edition

At the launch party you can buy the digital edition five days before it reaches stores on December 8.

A free 30-day journal

My 30-Day Healing and Reflection Journal, yours to fill in online or download below. It’s a companion to the book, not a copy of it.

An invitation to the launch party

Celebrate the book with me and the rest of the team at the virtual launch party on Zoom: Thursday, December 3, 5 to 6 p.m. PST | 8 to 9 p.m. EST.

A part in the launch

Help a book about healing find the people who need it most, alongside readers who believe in its message.

How you can help

Small things that carry a book a long way

  1. Get your copy early at the launch party, or on Amazon during launch week, when every purchase helps the book find new readers.
  2. Read it at your own pace.
  3. If you’d like to, post an honest review on Amazon and Goodreads.
  4. During launch week, share about the book where you already spend time: social media, your church, your small group, your friends.
  5. Ask your local library to carry it, and tell one person who needs it.

Questions

Before you join

Who should join?

Anyone who connects with the book’s message and wants to help it find its readers. You don’t need a large following. A few honest conversations matter more than a big audience.

Do I get a free copy?

No. There are no free or advance copies. At the launch party on December 3 you can buy the digital edition early, five days before it reaches stores on December 8.

Do I have to write a review?

No. Reviews are always optional and always honest.

Can my family and close friends join?

Yes, and their help sharing the book means a great deal. Amazon does not allow reviews from an author’s family or close friends, so I’ll ask them to help in other ways.

How much time does it take?

A few minutes during launch week, plus reading the book at your own pace. There is no weekly homework.

The book discusses trauma. Is it safe for me to read?

The Light After speaks honestly about childhood trauma, abuse, and abandonment. Read gently, take breaks, and set it down whenever you need to. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988.

Can I leave the team?

Of course, at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any launch team email.
